About
Meet Steven Showers
Human beings are uniquely capable of intentional, measurable, transformative growth. That conviction has shaped every aspect of Steven's work.
For twenty years he has worked alongside senior leaders and leadership teams in complex organizational environments. Occasionally at the front of the room but more often working alongside the primary leader helping clarify direction, build momentum, and move stuck organizations toward growth. He has navigated conflict, led through resistance, and witnessed firsthand what happens when leaders lean into hard conversations.
That experience did not just inform his coaching. It helped shape it.
Steven holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with concentration in Organizational Leadership from Bethel University (Mishawaka), a Seminary Certificate in Bible and Pastoral Ministry from the Pastoral Leadership Institute, and obtained his coaching training through Creative Results Management, a program accredited by the International Coaching Federation. He is a licensed pastor with the Missionary Church and serves in an itinerant capacity.
Steven is married to Lindsey and together they have six children. When they are not biking or visiting family you will find him mowing fresh stripes on his lush dark green lawn or cruising around town with his family in one of their collector muscle cars.
He does not believe growth happens by inspiration alone. He believes it happens in focused, intentional relationships where awareness is self-discovered, action is deliberate, accountability is built in and your hunger for growth is the accelerant.
If that is the kind of growth you are after, he would love to have a conversation.
My Approach to Coaching
I believe every leader already has the answers they need.
My role isn’t to give you a playbook — it’s to ask the questions that help you discover what you already know, build awareness of what’s possible, and create the plan needed to act on it.
Coaching works because it puts you in the driver’s seat.
You set the agenda. You do the work between sessions. You own every breakthrough. I’m here to hold the space, challenge your thinking, and keep you moving forward.
This isn’t therapy, consulting, or mentoring.
Professional coaching — approved by the International Coaching Federation — is about helping you discover your own path forward and create the breakthrough.
